Gray Jay (Perisoreus canadensis) in Colorado

The Gray Jay, of the crow and jay family, is a year-round resident of the subalpine zone of Colorado’s Rocky Mountains and, specifically, in coniferous forests at elevations ranging from 8,500 to 11,300 feet. Indian Summer Trail – Mountain Biking, Trail Running – Loveland, CO
The Indian Summer trail is part of the Fort Collins/Loveland, Colorado trail system that connects Horsetooth Mountain Park, Coyote Ridge Natural Area, and Devil’s Backbone Open Space.
